What can Jocelyn do to save her family’s restaurant business and avoid returning to New York City? She has finally made some friends in Utica, NY, hopes to be accepted into the university’s high school business program on scholarship, and can’t stand the thought of giving up on the Wu family’s A-Plus Chinese Garden restaurant. Jocelyn knows she needs to come up with a plan and advertises for marketing help. Will Domenici, needing a summer internship and proof that he has what it takes to be the school newspaper editor, answers the ad with plans to bring the restaurant into the social media world of the 21st century. While business begins to pick up through Will’s efforts, the two teens find themselves attracted to each other. But Mr. Wu’s stipulations, along with Jocelyn’s moods and Will’s panic attacks threaten to keep the budding romance cool. When the teens discover the lease on the restaurant building may not be renewed, their determination to succeed, despite their issues, is thrown into overdrive.
